Muncie Civic Theatre presents THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST by Oscar Wilde in the Casazza Family Studio Theatre.
The most renowned of Oscar Wilde’s comedies, the play chronicles the antics of two bachelors who create alter egos both named Ernest to escape their tiresome lives. They attempt to win the hearts of two women who, conveniently, claim to only love men called Ernest. Their double lives catch up with them and hilarity ensues. This classic comedy is filled with wit and absurdity which has made it stand the test of time.
Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:00pm and the Sunday matinees are at 3:00pm. Rated PG.
