Rehearsals + shows

Recommended for students in grades 3-7. If your child is a 3rd-4th grader and has not been involved in our program before, Preludes may be the best fit for a first experience

Shows are usually 40-70 minutes in length. 

Actors participating in the Act 1 Program typically have rehearsals on Saturdays for 8-9 weeks prior to their performance (not applicable to Summer Camps).  Actors are guaranteed two performances, but may have up to four.  Each Saturday actors will be called to rehearsal for two to six hours, between the hours of 9am and 6pm.  Please sign up for the program, two weeks prior to the first rehearsal.  All students who sign up will be given a role.

This program is designed to begin to develop young actors in their confidence, stage presence, vocal abilities, and overall performance skills for students in grades 3-7. Act 1 teaches rigorous performing arts standards, including collaboration, responsibility, self-expression, and intermediate performance skills.

Cost

All students who sign up will be given a role. Standard Cost for this program is $200, financial assistance is available (Summer tuition varies in cost by show). Tuition payment is due two weeks following the cast list being announced. Information on how to apply for a scholarship is available on the registration page. We are not able to offer refunds once the first rehearsal has occurred
