EDUCATION

WELCOME! We are pleased that you have chosen to participate in Muncie Civic Theatre’s Youth Education Program. Whether this is your first show or your twentieth, our website will help you to understand the expectations we have for our students in these programs.

If you have any questions we have not addressed, please contact the Education Director:  Bridget Duggleby bridget@munciecivic.org

As part of the Muncie Civic Theatre, the Muncie Civic Theatre Youth program strives to provide quality theatre education programming for youth in kindergarten through high school.  Our programming is collaborative and inclusive with a specific curriculum designed to teach acting, dancing, singing, interpersonal communication, and teamwork skills at an age-appropriate level.

Students are only permitted to participate in one youth program at a time.

(Please note the shift in our programs to allow for smaller cast sizes, smaller amounts of students in the building at a time, and  improved sanitation practices due to Covid-19.)

Classes and Showcases:  Periodically available both online and in person.  Our classes are typically 8-weeks in length.  They are designed to allow students the opportunity to enhance their strengths or grow their expertise and skill level in other areas of interest.
